E-Mail Discussion Lists

SAC has several E-mail announcement and discussion mailing lists.
These are for SAC members and interested parties.
Please help keep topics related to the purpose of the mailing lists.

SAC-Announce   (may be obsolete)

SAC-Announce is an announcement list about what’s going on within SAC.
It is open to anyone interested in what’s going on within the club.
Traffic is kept to a minimum (typically 4 to 6 messages a month).

 Subscribing: Send a message to sac-announce-request@freelists.org with the
“Subject: subscribe”. Or use this link:

SAC-Forum

SAC-Forum is a discussion mailing list open to SAC members and other interested people. Topics are open, but please try to keep them of interest to other SAC members.

Messages to the list membership must be sent to SAC-forum@groups.io

 Subscribing: Go to Groups.io, search for the group SAC-Forum (or “SAC Forum”). Click on the button down the page to join the group. Your application will be accepted in a day or so by the moderators.Alternatively, send an email to SAC-forum+subscribe@groups.io.

After your membership is set, go to the Subscription tab on the left. Set your preference as to how you should receive messages.

Go to Groups.io, then go to the group SAC Forum. Go to the tab “Subscription” on the left, at the bottom of the page click “Leave Group”.

SAC-Board is a discussion mailing list about the month-to-month running of the club. It is open to SAC members and other interested people. Please keep topics related to SAC.

AZ-Observing
AZ-Observing is NOT a SAC mailing list, but it’s a discussion mailing list about amateur observing in Arizona.
It’s an open list for those interested in astronomical observing in Arizona. Messages to the list membership must be sent to az-observing@groups.io
